Kidnapping

Kidnapping is the illegal capture and confinement of a person against their will. In most states, absorption must be involved for the crime to be considered kidnapping. Absorption is the physical movement and detention of a person to a location that is against their will. Any amount of movement, regardless of distance, is absorption.
